This giveaway is open internationally, as long as The Book Depository/Amazon ships to you.


- The winner will be announced here shortly after the giveaway ends and notified by email.
- The winners have 48 hours to respond to the winning email before a new winner will be chosen. (And please, please, please be sure to check your SPAM folder... I really dislike having to choose a new winner when I don't hear back from you.)

There's so many spooky books out there, but right now I'd go with Cryer's Cross by Lisa McMann or Dead to You, also by Lisa McMann. (Both of them really messes around with your psyche!)

You see, my problem is that I don't read a whole lot of "spooky." but I guess I'll go with A SWIFTLY TILTING PLANET by Madeleine L'Engle. Though that one was more scary than spooky...
ReplyDeleteStephen King is the best in spooky books. I've read The Mist, Carrie and several short stories written by him, and they are my favorites :)
ReplyDeleteThe Stand by Stephen King was definitely spooky and freaked me out! But by far the scariest book I have ever read was THE DESCENT by Jeff Long!! If you like SCARY and haven't yet read it, do so! It's about a whole other world below ground that some spelunkers stumble upon. It even scared the cr*p out of my husband, who doesn't scare easily!!

ReplyDeleteMy favorite murder mystery is Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Recently I read Anna Dressed in Blood and loved it. I'm currently reading Daughter of Smoke and Bone and think it will be great as a Halloween read.
